As long as Cindy can remember, she's been mapping out a career as a stylist. At 19 she began her career at an exclusive Chicago salon as a hair stylist, color specialist and makeup artist. Acknowledged quickly as a rising star, Cindy was eventually featured in Self Magazine as "Chicago's Top Short Hair Cut Artist," and she was booked six months in advance. She built a customer base of models, agents and other creative professionals who inspired her to make the natural transition into a freelance hair and makeup stylist catering to the film and print industry. Cindy just wrapped as the key hairstylist on the T.V. show "Mind Games," on ABC.
Her hands are most at home when creating a unique “piece of art" through hair and makeup. Cindy say's, "there is nothing more fulfilling than to collaborate with other artists, create something really beautiful or moving in some way and have that moment captured on film."
She shares a mutual love and respect with the photographers and directors with whom she has worked consistently over the years. Her quality of work, creative input and ability to add a positive energy, are some of the reasons they say keep’s them coming back. One of the frequent comments is that Cindy’s relaxed approach gives a "good vibe" all around.
With over 30 years in the business, Cindy feels privileged to have worked with many celebrities and some of the best photographers and directors on a wide range of fashion, advertising, catalog, commercials and TV shows. Cindy’s invaluable experience, combined with her passion for her work, contribute to her being an elite stylist.
